Chinese the Language for 21 Century

In Japan, many people prefer learning Chinese to learning other foreign language except English. The Japanese middle schools where the Chinese course is opened had been increasing more than 3 times from 1993 to 2003. More and more students outside Asia are learning Chinese. The population from England, Welsh and the Northern Ireland who attended the advanced Chinese level test had increased 57 percent from 2000 to 2004. In America, college students studying abroad in China are more and more.
